Job Title: Clinical Research Project Manager
Location: Abbott Park, IL
Duties:
Support Manager is responsible for daily support to all the users of the Study Tracking system IMPACT The mission is to provide fast, reliable, high quality support to IMPACT users and to interact with relevant corporate units and Abbott affiliates for support of IMPACT
Manage Phases I - IV domestic and international clinical research studies. Responsibilities include protocol design and development, case report form development, contract negotiation, site recruitment, support program management for project reviews, budget and timeline development, establish relationships with outside vendors, medical consultants and partners, provide IND and NDA summary reports, interface with interdisciplinary teams, monitor project timelines, develop project management tools, and provide project presentations. In-depth knowledge of IMPACT handling and related tools such as Cognos and IMPACT Monitoring Modules In depth knowledge of all CSMS related Business processes Provide first level support for IMPACT users including desk-side assistance to users.Enter the requests into the call tracking database and interact with the relevant specialist as necessary. Together with CPG and respective Study teams, set up the Subject Visit Design in IMPACT Participate in CSMS Support team (Tasks: new report requests, change/addition to reference data, enhancement recommendations). Development of user Support Documentation. Test system configuration & enhancements. Support CFO in using IMPACT for tracking study related information. Communicate information and know-how to end user community. Participate in annual internal IMPACT CSMS Support team meetings Analysis of problem database.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a medical or scientific discipline
5 years of experience in monitoring/managing clinical trials
Knowledge of IMPACT
Comfortable with Technology
