Biostatistician Jobs
A biostatistician is responsible for calculation of sample size, development of statistical analysis plan, developing dataset specifications with algorithms, maintaining quality of assigned project work, QC for generated reports, developing inferences, and so on. A similar position may also be referred to as a biometric statistician, bioanalytical research associate, statistician, data reporting analyst, or senior biostatistician. A biostatistician generally reports to a lead biostatistician.
A biostatistician should have a master's degree in statistics and preferably a qualification in the field of biotechnology. A biostatistician’s key trait is excellence in numerical ability and quantitative aptitude.
