Biotech Trainer Jobs
Trainers provide practical, industry-specific training to Biotechnology students. While doing so, trainers help student develop essential skills and thereby enhance their job opportunities in the biotech industry.
Trainers provide training in various areas of expertise that include: management level positions in quality and compliance (quality systems development and process improvement), clinical operations, clinical trial management/ site monitoring, managing studies at investigational sites, and educating and training personnel (CROs, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, investigational sites, academia, government agencies).
In some cases, trainers also demonstrate their expertise in: establishing and overseeing clinical development quality systems (SOP Administration, SOP development, business process development and deployment, process improvements); clinical development training departments and training programs to support infrastructure; and regulatory compliance requirements including global regulatory agency inspection readiness.
Trainers who train Biotech Sales and Marketing personnel are responsible for managing the department and field sales force and management. They select, design, and perform training and development for all aspects of programs – Therapeutic Specialist, Sales Directors, Managed Markets Managers, etc. Trainers need to be equipped with appropriate market, technical, and product knowledge.
Trainers need to have excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to initiate things. They also need to be creative and good at problem-solving. Ideal candidates will have prior biotech/ pharmaceutical experience with documented success.
