Broadcast Company NameinVentiv Health Public Relations Group Position TitleClinical Trials Engagement Team Member Position CategoryOther Position TypeFull Time OverviewinVentiv Health (iVH) PR Group, is seeking a dynamic, team member with at least 1-3 years of experience in patient recruitment to join the global clinical trial engagement (CTE) team in New York City. The CTE team is a strategic service within inVentiv Health supporting both Clinical and Commercial divisions with patient recruitment and retention needs. Due to major growth over the past 12 months the team is looking for a team member who is able to handle a broad variety of tasks with a high degree of independence and sound judgment. Ideal candidates will be someone who is very detail oriented and proactive, who can manage projects, including working with internal creative teams, media buyers and sites themselves.At the heart of the CTE team is a passion for patient engagement and helping physicians and nurses find patients for clinical trials. As a team we translate complex clinical trial jargon into a language patients understand, wherever they are searching for information, online or via their current physician.The team member will be joining a dynamic team currently working on a variety of global programs, including depression and Duchenne's muscular dystrophy. With many of our programs out of the box thinking on where best to find patients is very important to the team.Within the CTE team other programs include hematology, specifically lymphoma, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, pain and rare disease. The team works across a wide audience range from pediatrics through to geriatrics, ensuring that no two programs are ever the same. Description of DutiesWork in collaboration with both our Commercial and Clinical colleaguesResearch innovative and new thinking in patient recruitment to share with CTE team monthlyAttend investigator meetings to meet clinical sites and understand their communications needsManage site contact and queriesDrafting copy for patient materials across multiple channels (e.g., flyers, brochures, web)Be the primary contact for clients, leading status meetings and day to day queries that ariseMaintain accurate tracking of client and vendor budgetsManage vendor relationships including media buyers and make recommendations to optimize programsEnsure global project trackers remain up to date Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in public relations, communications or related fieldProven experience in patient recruitment from pharma, CRO or agencyAt least 1-3 years relevant work experienceAbility to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environmentMust have strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMaintain effective working relationships with clients, vendors and internal staffSelf-starter/self-motivatorHighly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is adaptable/flexible EEO StatementinVentiv Health, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength that diversity brings to the workplace.
