The Risk Assessment Coordinator (Genetic Counselor) possesses the technical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to manage/coordinate all aspects of clinical cancer risk assessment/genetic evaluation in a manner consistent with all requirements of the health care delivery system-medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory. The coordinator works cooperatively with the cancer risk assessment and genetics team, which includes medical director(s), genetic counselors and administrative assistant. The coordinator is also responsible for participating in research protocols, conferences, and educational events as a multidisciplinary team member, as applicable. Education: 1.Masters Degree in Genetics/Genetic Counseling or equivalent. 2.Oncology training preferred. Licensures & Certifications: 1.ABGC/ABMG Board Certified/Eligible required 2.Current license to practice in Pennsylvania. 3.Membership in related field professional organization. Experience: 1. Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
