Must have Microbiology Experience. HOURS: 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The Medical Lab Scientist - ASCP organizes and performs the daily activities of his or her assigned sections. The section(s) may be Chemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, Microbiology or Immunology. The MLS ensures that performing the daily activities and the validity of test results and quality control are completed for the specific section to which he/she is assigned.','!*!EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or related sciences including a practical training program. Associates degree is acceptable. HHS/HEW must have appropriate years of experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Need to be certified or registry eligible, by providing documentation of certification within 3 months of hire, in one of the following: ASCP, NCA, AMT. Licensure in a specialty area will be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Must complete practical training program.
