The Mokalled laboratory is seeking applicants for a Research Opportunity in the Department of Developmental Biology at Washington University School of Medicine. Our lab uses the zebrafish model system to study neural regeneration after spinal cord injury or disease (
). We welcome ambitious applicants with enthusiasm for neuroscience, regenerative biology, and zebrafish research. This position offers opportunities for co-authorships on published manuscripts.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
A minimum of 2 years of research experience in a laboratory setting.
Candidates with prior experience in zebrafish, neuroscience and spinal cord research are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in basic molecular techniques including DNA, RNA, PCR, and molecular cloning.
The hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience.
