As a Senior Security Engineer you will be part of a team distributed around the globe and with a variety of background and expertise within the Security and Identity Management areas.
You will contribute and technically lead challenging projects which require deep cybersecurity and IT infrastructure knowledge.
You will be accountable and responsible for the technical design of solutions, building and testing, in the context of the projects and activities. In doing so, you will exercise sound judgment, balanced with effective consultative engagement of key stakeholders, in the methods and techniques chosen to obtain the desired results.
In addition to the Solution Architect role previously described, you will you will provide IT Security Consultancy services to other areas and initiatives with dependencies in the security area.
Architect, design, build, test, and deploy integrated, resilient and reliable solutions in the security space.
Lead and contribute to the creation and maintenance of related component standards.
To contribute in the evaluation of promising solutions/technologies via Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and feasibility studies as they related to meeting Roche’s business needs.
Manage small and medium sized technical teams providing the expert guidance required to drive technical developments in different initiatives.
Advise, influence, collaborate with, and integrate feedback from various IT partners.
Map the technology roadmaps into portfolio projects/activities and to estimate resources, dependencies, risks, and timelines required to deliver these projects/activities successfully.
Contribute and/or write position papers, white papers, best practices and use cases for their infrastructure solution space.
Ensure solutions implemented fit within the Quality/Regulatory standards, as applicable.
BS, Computer Science preferred.
Must have 6 years experience of working in one or more multinational work environments as Solutions Architect/Technical Lead in Security solutions. Work experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry would be a plus.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English. German, Spanish and Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
You have proven project and time management skills as well as
business analyst and
roblem solving capabilities.
Some travel will be required.
The ability to work across multiple time zones, including some on-call and extended hours work will be required.
You bring in-depth expertise in developing, implementing and architecting security systems specifically for a large Global Enterprise.
You have a in-depth knowledge of at least two of the following technologies:
Security Framework for Cloud including integration with on-premise Infrastructure.
Platform Security Design & Deployment including but not limited to
Data Loss Prevention
User Behavior Analysis
Designing and implementing Enterprise Vulnerability and Security Compliance Management solutions.
Designing and implementing Enterprise SIEM solutions.
Accountable and responsible for following DevOps principles and, whenever possible, delivering the solutions as code applying IaC processes.
Proficiency in automation, orchestration and configuration management tools/scripting.
Expertise in the areas of Wireless and Wired network security and IoT.
