u003Cpu003EThe National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking an innovative leader to serve as the Associate Director of Precision Oncology Research within the Center for Cancer Genomics (CCG) (u003Ca href=****The CCG oversees NCI-wide genomics-basedu003C/pu003Ernrnu003Cpu003Einitiatives to accelerate the creation and use of tools that will bring a new understanding about the molecular underpinnings of different forms of cancer in children and adults. We are seeking a senior-level candidate with a specialized combination of expertise in pediatric cancer, cancer genomics, and functional genomics. The position will report directly to the CCG Director and serve as the primary advisor to NCI senior officials on the development of NCIu0026rsquo;s Moonshot activities in the area of cancer genomics. The candidate will be expected to provide expert knowledge and first-hand experience in developing and improving genomic data systems and technologies into which sequencing data and high-content functional screening data will be deposited to facilitate breakthrough findings for improved treatments.
