IRL, an HCA company, is a full service provider for clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services, providing hospitals, physicians, and clients with timely diagnostic information for patient care. Our infrastructure includes a fully automated esoteric core laboratory in Fort Lauderdale, histology and microbiology operation in Largo, Florida, and a network of hospital based rapid-response laboratories throughout Florida.

Manages Microbiology laboratory operations supporting the clinical laboratory testing needs of the Integrated Regional Laboratories System. Manages the technical and support personnel in the department, guiding and developing their performance. Responsible for achieving quality improvement, fiscal, productivity and customer/employee satisfaction goals and objectives in areas of responsibility.
This position is full-time days, week days only.
* Experience in a clinical laboratory setting required. * Ten years of Microbiology experience with a superior performance record * Previous supervisory experience preferred * Knowledgeable of current & new technologies in Microbiology
* 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, required
* State of Florida Supervisor’s License required.
